WATER MANAGEMENT INTEREST GROUP

Purpose
The purpose of the WMIG is to promote best practices in water management.

Objectives
The WMIG shall achieve the above purpose through the following objectives:

1. To work with our affiliate, the International Water Association (IWA) and the Water Environment Federation (WEF), to disseminate the best management practices related to water management.
2. To work with outside bodies, such as the Malaysian Water Association (MWA), Water Resources Technical Division of the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (WRTD-IEM), etc. to promote the best water management practices.
3. To organise activities to disseminate and promote best water management practices.

Membership

1. Membership in the WMIG is open to all ENSEARCH members.
2. Membership is by registration with the Secretariat.
3. No membership fee is required.

ENVIRONMENT PROFESSIONALS GROUP

Purpose
The Purpose of the EPG is to assist the EPRM Registry Committee in the implementation of the objectives of the EPRM scheme.

Objectives
The EPG shall achieve its Purpose through the following Objectives:

1. To operate as the Membership Sub-Committee of the EPRM.
2. To promote the EPRM Scheme.
3. To publish a joint EPRM/EPG newsletter.

Membership

1. All ENSEARCH members who are EPRM members shall automatically become members of the EPG.
2. There will be no additional registration or membership fee.

ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT INTEREST GROUP

Purpose
The purpose of the EMIG is to create awareness, promote and support the implementation of Environmental Management, including ISO 14000 series, among ENSEARCH members and industries in the country.

Objectives
The EMIG shall achieve its Purpose through the following Objectives:

1. To work with our affiliate, the International Network for Environmental Management (INEM), to disseminate environmental management information among ENSEARCH members and interested parties.
2. To work with outside bodies, such as SIRIM, CIDB, FMM, etc. to create awareness and, to promote and support the implementation of EM in the relevant industries.
3. To organize activities to achieve the aims of Objectives 1 and 2.

Membership

1. Membership in the EMIG is open to all ENSEARCH members.
2. Membership is by registration with the Secretariat.
3. No membership fee is required.

CLEANER PRODUCTION INTEREST GROUP

Purpose
The Purpose of the CPIG is to provide guidance and network on integrated approaches to create awareness, promote and support the implementation of CP by industries, businesses and communities in the country.

Objectives
The CPIG shall achieve its Purpose through the following Objectives:

1. To facilitate implementation of CP by assisting stakeholders to identify critical issues and develop appropriate solutions.
2. To advise decision-makers on priority issues, new developments and strategies for implementing CP.
3. To improve awareness and understanding of CP by networking and communication.
   
   The following strategies will be applied to achieve these objectives.
   

• To work with international organisations, e.g. APRCP to collect and disseminate CP information.
• To work with outside bodies, such as SIRIM, CIDB, FMM etc. to promote the implementation of CP by the organisations in the pertinent industry, business and Community groups.
• To organise activities to create CP awareness and disseminate CP-related information.

Membership
