6th KKEF Memorial Public Lecture 2009

ENSEARCH, the Environmental Management and Research Association of Malaysia, is pleased to announce that the 6th K. Kumarasivam Memorial Public Lecture 2009 will be held on 2nd November 2009, Monday, 4.30pm at Sime Darby Convention Centre, Jalan Bukit Kiara, Kuala Lumpur.
This lecture is the sixth in the series of public lectures that is organised by the K. Kumarasivam Endowment Board, which was set-up in 2003 by ENSEARCH and the Centre for Environmental Technologies (CETEC), with the support of family members, friends and associates of the late Ir. K. Kumarasivam (1932 – 2003), to recognise his contribution to the promotion of environmental management excellence in Malaysia. This year’s event is jointly organized by AITAA Malaysia Chapter.
Our speaker is Dr. Bindu N. Lohani, who is Vice President (Finance & Administration) of Asian Development Bank, with over 20 years experience in the environmental sector. Dr. Lohani has more than 120 publications in reputed journals, manuals, monographs, technical reports and conference papers, and has authored seven books. He has received several awards, medals and honors and is listed in several “Who’s Who in the World.” The theme for his lecture is “Climate Change and Business Opportunities”.
