A Green Malaysia – Greening Businesses & Industries through Innovation & Technology
ENSEARCH, the Environmental Management and Research Association of Malaysia is a supporting partner with Asian Strategy & Leadership Institute (ASLI) For The National Forum On Green Technology & Innovation on the 23rd & 24th November 2009 at Prince Hotel Kuala Lumpur.
Green technology is the application of environmental science to conserve the natural environment and resources, and to curb negative impact of human involvement.
Sustainable development is the core of environmental technologies. When applying sustainable development as a solution for environmental issues, the solutions need to be socially equitable, economically viable, and environmentally sound. The field of “green technology” covers an evolving group of methods and materials, from techniques for generating energy to non-toxic cleaning products. Across the globe, there has been much talk about the need to adopt and embrace sustainable development in green technology.
Some areas of Green Technology, which are quite significant in today’s global economy, are energy, green buildings, environmentally preferred purchasing, green chemistry and even green nanotechnology. Many of these subjects is covered in this 2 day conference.
