This course has been designed to provide direct practical instruction on implementation of Scheduled Wastes Management (SWM) to people in industry who have responsibility for project development, management, planning and operations, with the desire to comply with environmental legislation and improve on their environmental performance and safety practices.

IMMEDIATE PAST EVENT - ENSEARCH 25th Annual General Meeting

Please be informed that ENSEARCH will be having its 25th Annual General Meeting at ENSEARCH Training Room, Dataran Sunway, on 8th May 2009 (Friday) at 3.00 p.m. The programme of the AGM is as follows:-

3.00 p.m. – 3.30 p.m. : Registration
3.30 p.m. – 3.45 p.m. : Talk by 5th K. Kumarasivam Young Environmentalist Internship Award 2008 winner
3.45 p.m. – 4.15 p.m. : Talk by Invited Speaker (Speaker from DOE has been invited-awaiting confirmation)
4.15 p.m. – 4.45 p.m. : Coffee break
4.45 p.m. : ENSEARCH 25th Annual General Meeting
The Agenda for the meeting is as follows:
1.
Opening Address by the President
2.
Confirmation of the Minutes of the 24th Annual General Meeting held on 10th May 2008 (Saturday).
3.
Matters Arising
4.
Tabling of the Annual Report, Balance Sheet and Statement of Accounts for the financial year
2008.
5.
Acceptance of the Annual Report, Balance Sheet and Statement of Accounts for the financial
year 2008.
6.
Election of Council Members
7.
Appointment of two Honorary Auditors / Professional Auditors
8.
Debate and decision on any resolution, duly submitted and received by the Hon. Secretary
General at least two weeks before the Meeting
9.
Any Other Business

All members of the Association, who are not in arrears of their subscriptions as of the date of the AGM, are entitled to attend, participate in the proceedings and vote at the AGM.

Please register your interest to attend the AGM with ENSEARCH Secretariat by completing the ENSEARCH 25th AGM Reply Slip and return it to ENSEARCH Secretariat before 20th April 2009.

We are sending you the 25th Annual Report with this notice. Please bring the Annual Report along with you to the AGM.

If you are unable to attend the meeting but wish to appoint another member to vote on your behalf, please complete the Proxy Form and return it to ENSEARCH Secretariat 48 hours before the AGM.

PAST EVENT - Visit to Sustainable Tech Facilities in Johor and S'pore

ENSEARCH welcomes members and non members to join us in our 25 th Anniversary celebration throughout 2009. We are organizing an exciting and informative visit to Sustainable Technology Facilities in Johor & Singapore as part of our grand event to commemorate our 25 years of establishment.

CPD Hours Approved
Department of Environment: 8 Hours

The aim of this visit is to educate participants & professionals from among the NGO's, government, the private sector and students with the latest information, developments and technology in sustainability. The visit will cover facilities such as sustainable biofuel production, waste management, waste- to -energy production and sustainable water resource management. This excursion will include a short briefing about the activities carried out by at the facility (as listed above) and followed by a site visit to the plant.

RM800.00 – ENSEARCH Members
RM950. 00 – Non Members

Registration closes on 16 February 2009.
