Our Green-Blue Heritage
On 3 October 2026, ENSEARCH successfully organised the Mangrove & Marine Life Appreciation CSR Initiative 2026 at Bagan Lalang, Sepang, with the support of Ocean Probe Sdn Bhd as a Strategic Partner.
The programme brought together lecturers and students from Politeknik Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah, Shah Alam, together with representatives from the local community, for a meaningful day of environmental appreciation, learning and hands-on engagement with our mangrove, coastal and marine ecosystems.
As part of the initiative, participants took part in kayaking and mangrove exploration, beach clean-up, and mangrove replanting activities. These activities provided participants with an opportunity to experience the role of mangrove ecosystems in habitat restoration and gain a deeper appreciation of the importance of protecting our coastal and marine environment.
Mangroves play a vital role in supporting biodiversity, protecting coastlines, providing natural protection against coastal hazards, and contributing to climate change mitigation through carbon sequestration and storage.
More importantly, the programme aimed to inspire participants, particularly the younger generation, to become active environmental stewards and ambassadors for the protection and restoration of our precious green-blue heritage.
